Champagne Wishes & Gourmet Dreams

Champagnes Bistro & Deli has been in Newport Beach for 23 years, so it’s nearly an institution for those who want a delicious salad or sandwich on the run.  But after a move within the same center, Newport North at MacArthur and Bison in Newport Beach, Champagnes Bistro took a gourmet turn and it’s now much more than a great place to grab a quick and healthy lunch.

 

 

Champagnes now offers a bistro-inspired menu at dinner, with a wide array of starters, entrees and sides.  These carmelized brussels sprouts are just one new item on the menu that media raved about during a recent dinner unveiling the menu.  Hosting key restaurant writers and food bloggers was just one tactic Champagnes took to promote the revamped concept and expanded menu.

 

 

 

 

The new Farm-acy Salad is brimming with dark leafy greens, apples, strawberries, blueberries and other anti-oxidants. Topped with a house-made vinaigrette, you have never had a healthy dish as delicious as this!

 

 

 

 

Braised Short Rib Beef Bourguignon is an example of one of the new bistro menu items being offered at dinner.  Tender and full of flavor, this comfort dish is a far cry from the “grab and go” sandwiches served at lunch. Champagnes still offers a casual lunch menu for dining in or picking up a salad or sandwich to take back to the office, but now local residents and those who work in the area have another great dinner option.

 

 

 

And what would a bistro be without a few decadent desserts?  Champagnes served up a sampler of Coconut Cake with fresh raspberry sauce and Chocolate Mousse, both of which were sweet finales to the debut dinner for Champagnes Bistro & Deli.

 

 

 

Champagnes Bistro & Deli had dreamed of more… expanding its service, offering al fresco dining on a beautiful patio and offering intimate bistro dining from a new location when it was formerly known only as a deli. But through strategic marketing and PR, the word is out and the superb menu and attentive service are giving guests something to toast.

 

OC Family food writers Shelby Barone and She’s Cookin’ blogger Priscilla Willis were just two of the media who enjoyed the new menu at Champagnes Bistro & Deli.
